PBL Reflection

I have sincerely enjoyed completing my project-based learning instructional activity and helping complete the proposal. I am certain my enthusiam for this project stems from the obvious benefits it presents to classroom application. Article after article found shed new light on the benefits of project-based learning while reinforced the same themes that PBL helps motivate students, especially in math. I feel like this project has definitely proved to me as an educator that students need to be engaged in meaningful real-world problems everyday in order to reap maximum benefits. I am confident that the project completed by my group members and me is a great way to motivate students in grades K-12 in math. This project helped me figure out how to apply the technologies I learned about during the semester to my classroom. I feel like project-based learning will help Georgia's schools achieve their technology goals and ultimately produce life-long learning students.
